Verto Global Buffs

The Verto Global Buffs program offer is an opportunity for invited waitlisted first-year students to begin their first semester abroad with our partner, Verto Education. This is an invite-only globally focused, fully transferable program. 

Students who participate and meet the academic requirements are able to transfer back to ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder for the spring semester. If you originally applied to the Program in Exploratory Studies (PES) or the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S), you will keep that placement and transfer into your selected program when you return. If you applied to one of our other colleges, schools or programs, you will transfer into the College of Arts and Sciences when you return.

Program Requirements

You must fulfill the following requirements during your semester with Verto Education in order to successfully enroll at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder in the spring:

  • Maintain a 2.7 GPA or higher
  • Complete 12 credits or more (15 preferred) of coursework
Locations

You may choose between one of the following Verto Education locations:

  • Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Prague, Czech Republic
  • London, England
  • Florence, Italy
  • Seville, Spain
Finances

Depending on the location, tuition for the Fall 2026 semester abroad ranges from $18,750 to $33,500. This cost includes housing, airport pickup upon arrival, course registration, comprehensive orientation, books, excursions, travel medical insurance and more (airfare not included). Verto also offers scholarships and financial aid to help offset program costs.

If you maintain a 3.75 GPA or higher and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours during your semester with Verto Education, you will be automatically considered for the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Transfer Excellence Scholarship when you return to ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder's campus.
