Prior to her graduate career, Anna worked professionally in healthcare and research settings, including perinatal care practices and clinical research for cancer clinical trials, which inspired her to study how data practices influence experiences of patient care. Her MA research focused on how pregnant patients made decisions about Covid-19 vaccination during the pandemic.
Anna is currently writing her dissertation on how midwives and pregnant people in the U.S. navigate historical injustices in care through feminist practices today. Her advisor is Donna Goldstein.
