Katerina Houser is pursuing a Master's Degree in Creative Technologies and Design. She graduated from Arizona State University's Barrett, the Honors College and School of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Textiles and minors in Sustainability and Fashion. As an interdisciplinary artist, she merges traditional fiber arts practices with digital fabrication tools and design software. Her work explores how modern processes can reimagine conventional textile construction. By integrating computational innovation with sustainable practices, Katerina creates pieces that connect cultural history, ecological awareness, and contemporary design. Her practice centers on advancing fiber technology while honoring textile traditions and addressing environmental concerns.
