Dr. Ben Weihrauch joined ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Engineering in 2019 and leads the Engineering Career Hub, focused on preparing ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Engineering students to be professionally ready for meaningful, impactful careers. Ben is a scholar-practitioner with 25 years experience across the student lifecycle, including admissions, advising, career development, employer relations and workforce development, and program management.

Before ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Engineering, Ben served in roles at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Anschutz Medical Campus, Community College of Denver, Michigan State University, and Minnesota State Mankato. He also worked in industry for a national edtech firm. Ben's research interests include first-generation student success, persistence and graduation outcomes, engineering education, career development and experiential learning, and inclusive practice.ÌýÌý

Ben earned his DoctorateÌýof Education in Leadership for Educational Equity - Higher Education concentrationÌýfrom the University of Colorado Denver, a M.A.Ìýin Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University, and a B.S.Ìýin History from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
