The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure the purposes of which are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäÌýBoulder. TheÌýcenter faculty membersÌýare affiliated with 13 differentÌýdepartments and institutesÌýat ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäÌýBoulder. The Center for Neuroscience:Ìý
- Administers the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäÌýBoulder Neuroscience PhDÌýprogram
- Fosters interdisciplinary interdepartmental research and interaction
- Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäÌýBoulder
- Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
- Fosters interest in neuroscience among undergraduates at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäÌýBoulder
