Our mission is to connect the hydroscientists at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder with the academic and research opportunities found across campus. The overarching goals are to support hydroscience students and to bridge the gaps in cutting-edge research.
Certificate andÌýPhD Subplan
Graduate students enrolled inÌýparticipating departmentsÌýat the University of Colorado at Boulder may apply to earn anÌýinterdisciplinary and interdepartmental graduate certificate or PhD subplanÌýdesignation in Hydrologic Sciences.ÌýThe program curriculumÌýfocuses onÌýquantitative studies of water in the environmentÌýincluding its role in geologic and biogeochemical processes, ecosystem functions, and global elemental cycling.
Student Research Symposium
The student ledÌýHydrologic Sciences SymposiumÌýis held every spring semester.
Career Mentoring
All ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä students interested in careers related to Hydrologic Sciences may joinÌýthe Water Buffs - Colorado's only Student Chapter of the American Water Resources Association, apply for scholarships, and participate in career development opportunities.
