Program Council’s Street Team is a selective, application-based program designed for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the music and entertainment industry. Running from February through May, the Street Team serves as both an introduction to music and entertainment business and a structured pipeline into Program Council.
Members receive guided education in event marketing, promotions, and live entertainment operations while working closely with Program Council staff and guest speakers. Throughout the program, participants build real-world skills and professional experience designed to prepare them for future roles within Program Council.
The program culminates in a capstone concert entirely planned and executed by Street Team members, giving participants end-to-end experience in live event production, from promotion and logistics to execution.
Due to the educational focus and limited spots, admission is competitive and requires an application. Street Team members gain meaningful industry experience, access to live events, and the opportunity to join a driven, creative community.
