Disability Services recognizes outstanding work at awards program
Several ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder community members were recognized this week for outstanding work as part of the new Disability Services Awards Ceremony, developed over the past yearÌýto help promote inclusive excellence.
Buffs Lacrosse making national waves
The 9-0, nationally-ranked lacrosse program at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä is the result of a team that has grown up together, learned together and taken to heart the wisdom of head coach Ann Elliot, who started the program from scratch in 2012.
ROTC team takes first at Bataan Memorial Death March
Out of 102 teams, University of Colorado Army ROTC placed first in the Team ROTC Heavy division at the annual Bataan Memorial Death March, a challengingÌýmarathon race through high-desert terrain.
David Meyer wants to change the way people communicate. To bring back the lost art of sharing stories with people we meet, he developed a mobile application that makes it easy to initiate a conversation.

See the future of cars, bikes and buses April 19
Some of the newest car, bike and bus technologies will be on display and available to experience at an upcoming award ceremony and alternative fuel expo, featuring the Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, a hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicle, both biodiesel and electric buses, electric bikes and more.
Campus Sustainability Summit, awards ceremony April 20
Join the annual Campus Sustainability Summit to learn about sustainability initiatives on campus. The event will feature an awards ceremony to recognize individuals and departments with a commitment to reducing ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder's burden on the environment.
April 27 is Bring Your Child to Work Day at The Rec
Bring your children to the Recreation Center on Thursday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for activities, entertainment and lunch with Chip. Free for all ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder faculty and staff.
BioFrontiers hosting hackathon in the name of advancing science
At the BioFrontiers Hackathon, there is no competition and each team worksÌýtoward its own goal in order to advance science! The institute is seeking researchers, programmers and people with diverse educational backgrounds to participate May 22 to 24.
