Staff and students commended for sustainability efforts
A new sustainability certificate offering in the MBA program; 2,200 gallons of water per day captured at Williams Village North for re-use; and 1,500 pounds of food waste per day diverted from landfills. These are just a few examples of the results this year’s campus sustainability awardees have brought to bear through tireless work.
Flood-mitigation project would replace Boulder Creek bridges
¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder is inviting public input on a flood-mitigation project that would include removing a pair of bridges over Boulder Creek and replacing them with a new one, connecting Lot 169 with the Buff Walk pedestrian thoroughfare along Folsom Field.
Student unlocks mysteries of Norlin's Tibetan Buddhist texts
Eben Yonnetti was first exposed to Buddhism as an undergraduate studying abroad in Nepal. Now, the Religious Studies grad student is compiling an online guide to Tibetan resources at Norlin Library.

Please join the Humanities program for a retirement party in honor of Shirley Carnahan. The associate chair, undergraduate director and senior instructor for Humanities, Carnahan has been with the department since 1985. The party will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at the Koenig Alumni Center.
