¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä to retire the late Rashaan Salaam's No. 19
The ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä football program will retire uniform No. 19 to honor the late Rashaan Salaam. A Heisman Trophy and Doak Walker Award winner in 1994, Salaam also was a unanimous All-American and the Walter Camp National Player of the Year following one of the best individual seasons in college football history.
Hundreds set to ride bikes to change student lives
Cyclists will take to the road Sept. 10 to raise money for arts and sciences scholarships. Since its inception, the event has raised almost $3.5 million, supporting more than 400 students.

Help keep ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder the No. 1 blood drive donor in Colorado
Participation in Staff Council blood drives has made ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder the top Colorado donor so far in 2017 to the Bonfils Blood Center. The community is encouraged to participate in the Rocky Mountain Showdown Blood Drive with CSU Aug. 29–31.

Trace arsenic linked to motor-skill decline in American Indian elders
Low levels of inorganic arsenic, thought to be safe, might be harming American Indian communities in the western U.S. The new research comes at the same time up to 60 million people in Pakistan are at risk due to arsenic water contamination.
Food security solutions for indigenous communities
An NSIDC-led project will explore how indigenous peoples living in the arid U.S. Southwest and icy Arctic are adapting to rapid social and environmental changes that affect food security.
