Study Abroad changes name to reflect breadth of services
As of Dec. 1, the office of Study Abroad has becomeÌýEducation Abroad. The variety of programs offered has expanded to become so much more than traditional study abroad. Director Mary Dandof says, "We support all international experiences undertaken by students."
New Arctic studies certificate to explore rapidly changing, politically charged region
In the spring ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder will become only the fourth higher education institute in the nation to offer an Arctic studies program, providing students with expertise on a long-neglected region gaining geopolitical importance due to climate change and its impacts.
2017 Hazel Barnes Prize: Call for nominations

End-of-semester D2L workshops start Dec. 12
The Learning Technology Consultants are hosting a handful of D2L end-of-semester workshops Dec. 12, 14 and 15 to cover gradebook setup and final adjustments, administering and grading online exams, Dropbox submission and grading features. Space is limited.
Inventions to look for at ATLAS Expo Dec. 7
Come visit a showcase of more than 100 student projects in virtual reality, physical computing, mobile apps, human-computer interactions and more at the ATLAS Expo, which takes place 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7. It's free and open to the public.
Student projects on former hospital site the focus of Dec. 9 open house
Bringing together a community's vision and enhancing a neighborhood through design is no small task. But with this aim, and working with the city, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder students have tried their hand at such a project and will present their work to the public at eTown Hall.
