- ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Provost Russell Moore has named Dyonne Bergeron to the post of acting vice provost and associate vice chancellor for diversity, equity and inclusion, effective Jan. 1, 2022.
- Abby Benson, who has served in key leadership roles within the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä system since 2012, will step down as ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder’s deputy chief operating officer in early December to accept a new executive position with the University of Rhode Island.
- The search for a permanent chief human resources officer is on temporary hold while university leadership further assess the needs of the campus. Jacobsen will continue to serve in the interim, and Landis has been appointed deputy chief.
- Valerie Simons has been named the interim chief compliance officer and system Title IX coordinator for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä. At ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder, Llen Pomeroy will step into the role of interim associate vice chancellor of OIEC and Title IX coordinator.
- Sara Thompson, dean of Continuing Education and vice provost for Summer Session and Outreach and Engagement, will retire on Jan. 10, 2022, after serving in the role since 2015.
- Assistant Vice Chancellor for Planning, Design and Construction Chris Ewing named d’Andre Willis as the new campus architect and director of planning for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder.
- Effective Aug. 23, Katy Herbert Kotlarczyk will be the vice chancellor for advancement. The position collaborates with executive leadership, shared governance representatives and colleagues at the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä system and University of Colorado Foundation to set the strategic direction for advancement.
- ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder will welcome alumna and longtime Boulder business leader Lori Call back to campus as the university’s new assistant vice chancellor for local government and community relations.
- Chancellor Philip DiStefano named Sonia DeLuca Fernández senior vice chancellor for diversity, equity and inclusion—a new campus leadership position that will provide strategic direction on campuswide DEI initiatives and programs.
