Ìý Ìý ÌýWhile the University of Colorado Boulder is the host institution for Detachment 105, you do not have to be a ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder student to join Air Force ROTC! Detachment 105 maintains crosstown agreements with several universities along Colorado’s Front Range, allowing students from other institutions to participate in ROTC as cadets at the Home of the Thunderchiefs.
Ìý Ìý ÌýThis means you can be a student at, say, UCCS in Colorado Springs or Regis University, but still take ROTC classes and attend Leadership Laboratory (LLAB) each week at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder. As a crosstown cadet, you’ll register for AFROTC courses through ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder and commute to Det 105 for your classes and LLAB.
Currently, Detachment 105 supports crosstown cadets from 9 partner institutions across Colorado:
- University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)
Ìý - Colorado Mesa University (CMU)
Ìý - Colorado School of Mines
Ìý - Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver)
Ìý - Regis University
Ìý - University of Denver (DU)
Ìý - University of Northern Colorado (UNC)
Ìý - Front Range Community College (FRCC)
Ìý - Red Rocks Community College (RRCC)
Ìý Ìý ÌýOur cadet wing includes students from across these campuses, making Detachment 105 one of the most diverse and geographically expansive AFROTC detachments in the country. No matter where you're studying, you can be part of our mission to develop leaders of character for the United States Air and Space Forces.
