Pickup Requests

• Hazardous waste pickup requests are handled by the��Hazmat Group.
• Pickup requests are made using a “Hazardous Materials/Waste Tag”.
• Pre-printed and sequentially-numbered tags are distributed to campus locations.�� Call (303) 492-7845 to obtain tags free-of-charge.
• Tags must be completed by hand-writing information, including generator name and location, and details about the container and chemical(s) being disposed.
• The completed tag must be affixed to its corresponding hazardous waste container using the metal wires.
• The top copy of the 3-part tag must be removed and placed in Campus Mail, addressed to “413 UCB”.
• Please allow 3-5 business for the collection of hazardous wastes.

• Solvent Recovery Program Waste
