COSINC is a multidisciplinary research facility and service center in Boulder, Colorado, providing open access to state‑of‑the‑art micro- and nano‑fabrication tools, materials characterization equipment, and ISO 5 cleanroom space. Our facility provides both expert support and advanced hands-on training for researchers, whether they are new or experienced. Serving the University of Colorado Boulder academic and research community, as well as industry and government researchers across the state and beyond, COSINC supports over 370 users and 200 Principal Investigators (PIs). Over the past three years, our facility has enabled funded sponsored projects totaling more than $150 million, representing an investment of over $10 million.

COSINC is dedicated to fostering innovation across a wide range of scientific and technological research areas, including electronics, photonics, quantum science, energy, environment, biomedicine, pharmaceuticals, and nanomedicine.

• Promoting multidisciplinary research and training by providing access to fabrication and characterization tools at the micro/nano scale.
