Courtney has more than five years of experience supporting and coordinating strategic initiatives at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder, now with a focus on her two biggest passions: sustainability and resilience. As Strategic Projects Specialist for Infrastructure and Resilience (I&R), she helps manage cross-campus projects like ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder’s Climate Action Plan, the Sustainability Council, and decarbonization implementation efforts. Her work includes leading project coordination, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and helping advance the university’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2030.
Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Western Washington University, a Master of Science in Outdoor Recreation Economy from the University of Colorado Boulder, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Disasters, Hazards, and Emergency Management from ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Denver, expected in spring 2026. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and exploring Colorado’s outdoors with her partner, Nate, and their dog, Maple.
