Publications

Dr. Xuedong Liu鈥檚 laboratory has a long record of foundational work on how cells interpret signals and regulate cell fate decisions, including influential contributions to TGF-尾/SMAD signaling, ubiquitin-mediated control of the cell cycle, and quantitative approaches to studying cellular dynamics. Building on this mechanistic foundation, the lab鈥檚 current research focuses on extracellular vesicle (EV) biology in disease, EV-based delivery of biological payloads, cell-in-cell structures, and cancer biology.
