Blood Biomarkers Project

Please come 4 hours fasted for the days you are getting your blood drawn. Water is ok to drink during this fasting period. You can bring food and flavored drinks for afterward.

Neural Excitability, Cardiorespiratory Fitness, and Motor Control Projects

Please wear/bring shorts so that we can access your lower leg. We need to be able to stick an adhesive gel electrode over the knee, ankle, and lower limb muscles.Ìý

Session lengths vary by study. Most visits last between 60 and 120 minutes, but specific details will be provided in advance. Some studies require multiple visits over several weeks.

We understand that schedules can change. If you need to reschedule a session, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.

All data collected during the study is kept confidential and is used solely for research purposes. Identifiable information is stored securely, and all published results are de-identified.

Some medical conditions or medications may affect eligibility. Please inform the research team about any conditions or medications before participating so we can determine if adjustments need to be made.

While individual results are generally not shared, we can provide general study findings once the research is completed. If you are interested, let us know, and we will notify you when findings are published.

You are welcome to bring someone with you if you prefer. However, depending on the study, they may need to wait in a designated area during testing.
