Get connected with the Transfer Student Peer Mentorship Program. Transfer Peer Mentors (TPMs) serve as student leaders, assisting incoming transfer students with their transition to the University of Colorado Boulder. TPMs provide a network of support for incoming transfer students by serving as a mentor, connecting them to campus resources, planning programs that will aid in their transition to college, and working with New Student & Family Programs and other campus offices to plan, promoteÌýand implement initiatives specifically focused on transfer students.

Lily Anna

  • Hometown:ÌýDenver, Colorado
  • Prior institution:ÌýUniversity of Hawaii at Manoa
  • Personal Hobbies:ÌýI love to read, I also love movies! If you have letterboxd or goodreads we will be besties! I love fashion and thrifting. Checking out the hidden gems around Boulder is my favorite weekend activity.
  • Favorites places on campus:ÌýThe big long tables on the second floor of Norlin Library, Foolish Craigs in the Muenzinger building and the benches along Varsity Lake.
  • What do you love about ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä?ÌýThere is always something, and someone to share it with. Whether that's an on-campus event, a gathering on the hill or a new coffee shop on Pearl. Life here expands so far beyond the campus. Boulder students know how to seize the day.
  • Advice for incoming transfer students:ÌýPut in effort! Making new friends is always nerve wracking and can be hard. But the effort will pay off.

  • What do you love about ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä?: I love how diverse the people on campus are; everyone is different! There's always something to do and there are so many places to hang out with my friends. My department is also VERY cool :)
  • Advice for incoming transfer students?: It’s going to be ok! It's totally ok to be scared and worried but always remember that you're going to be alright in the end! All your hard work is going to pay off.

Transfer Student Groups and Organizations​

  • Tau Sigma National Honor Society
    Tau Sigma is the national transfer student honor society, which recognizes and promotes the academic achievement and involvement of transfer students. Invitations to join are sent to eligible transfer students each spring.
  • Non-Traditional Student Organization (NTSO)
    The NTSO is a community of non-traditional students providing support for each other, both academically and professionally, and to make the transition back into school easier for new adult students.
