SLICE is hiring for the 2026-27 academic year
SLICE is a diverse team full of individuals who are excited to connect students with resources, engage and plan service opportunities for our campus with our communities, and make a larger social impact through education, service and reflection. Out student assistants will work approximately 10-12 hours per week (including some required evenings and weekends) and pay will start at $17.60/hr.

Open positions
- Manage official partnerships while engaging in outreach to on-campus and non-profit community partners in the area through email, phone and in person visits
- Identify opportunities for new community partnerships as well as community needs that our office can help addressÌý
- Manage ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Serves Platform (GivePulse), the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder volunteer management softwareÌý
Ìý
- Plan, implement, and execute large- and small-scaleÌýservice eventsÌýÌý
- Facilitate and plan programs and services that focus on volunteering, service learning, socialÌýjustice,Ìýand understandingÌýthe rootÌýcauses of community issues.Ìý
- Manage all logistics of event planning including food orders, transportation reservations, budgeting, and community partner management

- Work with the Program Manager forÌýExperiential EducationÌýto plan, coordinate and implement theÌýSkoÌýServeÌýprogram, includingÌýand Weekend, Winter, Spring and SummerÌýBreak TripsÌý
- Recruit andÌýretainÌýSite Leaders and participants through a variety of marketing and communication strategiesÌý
- Assist the Program ManagerÌýin planning, organizing andÌýfacilitatingÌýweekly Site LeaderÌýtrainingÌý

- Design, update, and capture content forÌýSLICEÌýsocial media channelsÌý
- EffectivelyÌýrepresent SLICEÌýin an engaging and professional manner in all forms of communication Ìý
- Create new and engaging social media posts,Ìýupdates, videos and moreÌýin collaboration with SLICE StaffÌý
Ìý
- Guide between 5-19 LLC participants through their first year at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder
- AssistÌýin running direct service projects andÌýfacilitateÌýreflection sessions, including -- but not limited to -- the First-Year Service Experience
- Develop and implement programming hosted within the LLC based on community needs and interests
