Undergraduate Advising

The Biomedical Engineering undergraduate advising team is here for your success, supporting you academically and personally and helping you navigate the department and curriculum. Our advisors are working in-person and remote hybrid schedules and are available to meet in-person or via Zoom.Ìý

Undergraduate students should plan to meet with their advisor at least once a semester. Use Buff Portal Advising to schedule an appointment.

Prospective ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder BME Majors:

  • Current Engineering students interested in changing their major to Biomedical Engineering should email an advisorÌýor come to to connect with an BMEÌýadvisor for any questions. If you're ready to request an official major change, you can fill out the CEAS Change of Major Form.
  • Current non-Engineering students interested in changing their major to Biomedical Engineering would need to complete an intra-university transfer (IUT) to Engineering. Please refer to the for transfer advising information.
  • Prospective students not yet admitted to ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder should email CEASadmissions@colorado.edu with questions.
