Course Evaluation Forms

Course Planning

Education Abroad credit can look a little different depending on the class format and/or how the credit comes back to ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä. You are responsible for knowing the Academic Policies and credit implications for all of the classes and credits you earn abroad. To determine how your coursework will count towards your ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä degree requirements, review the following steps and resources:

  1. With your academic advisor(s), determine what specific degree requirements you should plan to fulfill while abroad. Ìý
  2. Research the classes you can take abroad:
    1. Use yourÌýÌýto find program-specific academic info.
    2. Use theÌýÌýto determine if the courses you are interested in are already approved for the credit you need/ want.
  3. Complete the appropriate course planning and evaluation forms linked below.
    1. When possible, have twice as many approvals than you need so you'll have backup options.
    2. Allow yourself as much flexibility with the degree requirements you’re fulfilling abroad as possible.
    3. Course evaluations can take 3-5 weeks, so submit forms early!

Evaluation Forms

Course planning and evaluation procedures vary by school/college - see below for more. Use these forms to submit new courses for evaluation and/or confirm your course plan with your academic advisor.

Before completing a form, review the important considerations outlined below and in the forms themselves.Ìý

The vast majority of courses on ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder-approved programs will be acceptedÌýas elective credit at the very least. However, a small number of coursesÌýon study abroad programs (e.g. cooking, fashion, recreation, tourism classes) are not eligible for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä credit.Ìý

Review the full policy on theÌýAcademic PoliciesÌýpage and check theÌýÌýfor courses already determined to be non-transfer.Ìý

Only use this form to submit new classes that aren't already on the Course Approvals List.
