¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Education Abroad Administrative Fee

Less than 8% of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Education Abroad office expenses are paid by the central campus administration (i.e. from students' tuition & fees). So in order to function, the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Education Abroad office charges an administrative fee.ÌýThisÌýfee is essential to fund the operations of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Education Abroad office, andÌýa portionÌýof the fee is also placed into the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Education Abroad scholarship fund. Most education abroad offices at public universities charge similar fees to their students.

  • All students studying abroad on ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder approved education abroad programs are charged an administrative fee.
  • Non-residents are charged an additional differential fee due toÌýColorado law requiringÌýthat non-resident students be charged a higher rate of tuition for credit earned in residency.ÌýWhile non-residents are not paying for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä tuition during education abroad, they are receiving ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder residence credit for approved ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä education abroad programs.
