Education Abroad Peer Advisor

Are you enthusiastic about education abroad and interested in gaining experience in international education? If so, apply to be an Education Abroad Peer Advisor!

Position: Education Abroad Peer Advisors advise on EA’s full portfolio of programs, providing general programmatic information on a drop-in or virtual basis. The Peer Advisor also guides potential applicants through the education abroad process, including selecting a program, applying, pre-departure preparation, and returning from the program.ÌýThe Peer Advisor enthusiastically and accurately promotes the concept of education abroad and available ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder approved opportunities. In addition to one-on-one advising, the Peer Advisor supports the day-to-day functions of the office, including projects to help maintain the operations of the office. Marketing & Outreach Intern

Are you outgoing and enthusiastic about education abroad? Do you want to encourage your friends & peers to study abroad? If so, this could be the job for you!

Position: Marketing & Outreach Interns enthusiastically and accurately promote education abroad and ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Education Abroad (EA) through marketing & outreach efforts. Interns disseminate information on EA’s diverse program offerings, debunk common myths about barriers to education abroad, and promote EA’s current marketing campaigns. Interns present to on-campus classes, residence halls, and student groups to increase participation in education abroad by all members of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder student community, including populations underrepresented in education abroad. They also help develop print & electronic marketing materials and oversee EA's Instagram account.

Schedule: The work schedule is typically 5-10 hours a week but will vary by week. Students must commit to working for a full academic year. Interns will typically start 1-2 weeks before school begins in August.

Global Start Ambassador

Did you study abroad on ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä's Global Start: First Semester in London program? Are you excited about encouraging other first-year students to study abroad? If so, this could be the job for you!

Position: The Global Start Ambassador will assist with marketing, outreach, and pre-departure mentorship of the next Global Start cohort. Responsibilities include presenting to students and parents on the program, tabling at fairs, developing marketing content (including flyers, social media posts, etc.), and connecting with prospective and accepted applicants on student life questions.

Schedule: The work schedule will vary by week but will usually be 5-10 hours per week. This is a January-August position.
